Connected canopy cools whole journeys. Fragmented planting cools isolated moments. The useful question is not only how many trees exist—but who can walk from home to school, work, transit, and care in continuous shade.
METHOD & PROVENANCE
A story should show
its working.
GeoJSON type, geometry, bounds, identity, sequence, values, limits, and text safety are checked before a chapter renders.
Canopy percentage drives a documented color class and marker radius. No visual value is chosen by hidden model inference.
Replace the illustrative canvas with Web Maps JS, keep the compiled story manifest, and bind each chapter to supported camera and layer APIs.
